Story
Fundraising Campaign to Transform Lives in Lagos
Overview
Imagine waking up every day in a makeshift home, surrounded by stagnant, polluted water, without access to clean drinking water or reliable electricity. This is the harsh reality for many residents in the heart of Lagos, Nigeria. Due to a government mandate for new road construction, these individuals are being asked to vacate their homes without any alternative living arrangements. We can change this narrative and offer them a better future.
With your support, we aim to raise $500,000 through Giddifunds to acquire a new space within the same community and build modern, sustainable housing. This project will provide clean water, electricity, and a community garden to grow food, addressing both economic and environmental issues.
